COVID-19 Precautions & Procedures

At Nightingale Cottage Bed and Breakfast the comfort and safety of our guests is important to us and we have been awarded the Visit England “We’re Good to Go” Industry Standard Mark, confirming that we are following government and industry COVID-19 guidelines.

We have also achieved the AA COVID-19 Confident Accreditation.

We have procedures in place to maintain cleanliness and aid social distancing.

We have completed a detailed COVID-19 risk assessment and we have taken the following actions in response to the COVID-19 Pandemic.

We have enhanced our already stringent cleaning regime for the property and specifically the guest rooms and dining area.

As we are a small B&B we have restricted occupation to 1 booking only at a time, this occupancy can be 1 or 2 rooms for guests and families travelling together, this will ensure we maintain effective social distancing during your stay.

Other than by prior arrangement, we are strictly observing our check-in times of 16:00hrs to 20:00hrs and guests will be asked to confirm their arrival time.

All guests are asked to observe social distancing requirements throughout their stay. We have placed sanitising products throughout the property and can provide face masks if required.

We will wear appropriate PPE when preparing and serving breakfast and refreshments.

We have decided not to service rooms during your stay for less than 3 days and for your safety we will not enter your room during your stay unless it is essential due to an emergency where PPE will be worn. For stays greater than 3 days the options for cleaning the room can be agreed, cleaning rooms if required will be carried with full PPE and while the room is vacated.
